Catherine D. Battista

Catherine “Cat” D. Battista is a partner with Argento & Battista, LLC where she represents the victims of healthcare malpractice, nursing home abuse and neglect and personal injury. A plaintiff’s “pit-bull,” to date, Ms. Battista has obtained millions of dollars in judgments, verdicts and settlements on behalf of her clients.

Ms. Battista is recognized on the state and national level for her legal skill. She has been identified as one of the top 2.5% of young attorneys practicing in the State of Illinois for the past five consecutive years. In 2012, Ms. Battista was named one of the top 40 trial attorneys under the age of 40 in Illinois by the National Trial Lawyers Association. She is a published author, frequent speaker at seminars, and radio guest on legal matters. Ms. Battista presently serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Kane County Bar Association’s law journal, “Bar Briefs”, and also sits on the Kane County Board’s Technology Commission.

Ms. Battista graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2002 and received her law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2005. She is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois, the Northern District of Illinois (Trial Bar) and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
